Open Door

Open Door has over the last year benefitted and supported a variety of local creative groups. 

We've supported Ford Park Community Group get ready for the Ulverston Carnival. We've given a weekly space to group of highly creative indivduals called The Sewing Box who have knitted and sewn. The Cumbria Multicultural Womens Network have run a regular creative writing group here. Young and talented local film makers have been working on a film called Winter Hill. The Deat Beat drummers used the Open Door Offer to kick start a regular practice drumming session. Local group Boom Dang also used the offer to showcase their work with young people making music.

So via the Open Door Offer we've supported dancing, sewing, film-making, writing, music making.

We would like to thank everyone that has been involved in the Open Door Offer. 

Across the summer the Open Door Offer will not run. We will revist it in the autumn.
